| Not Moved By Chaos |
There is a saying about people who are able to respond to adverse moments in life by remaining calm. People will say, You are like a duck where water just flows down your back. Or something to that effect. It simply means, they are not moved under pressure. Just like the duck, when the storm comes, the duck is able to sit there and let the water stream down its back, unmoved and unshook.
We too, as Believers are to be unmoved by life negative circumstances.
Though we live in a fallen world, we are surrounded by The Love of God and the Saints cheering us on, that are here in this world.
Hebrews 12:1
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
You see, we are to cast our cares on Jesus, having The Lords champions of faith cheering us on. Saying, You got this, You can do this through Christ, You are more than a conqueror, look to Jesus! We are surrounded by Hope!
We no longer have to panic, but we run with patience. That is strategically running with Christ so we will not fail because He has already won.
Hebrews 12:2
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Be moved by faith, not by chaos.
