 | Proving The God Of Israel Over And Over:
David gave a comparison to King Saul, saying, The God of Israel delivered me from the paw of the Lion and from the paw of the Bear. It`s been proven. It`s a sure truth that the same God will deliver me from the hand of the Philistine.
1 Samuel 17:39 KJV
And David girded his sword upon his armour, and he assayed to go; for he had not proved it. And David said unto Saul, I cannot go with these; for I have not proved them. And David put them off him.
Scripture tells us that David was assayed to go with Sauls armor on. Assayed is Yaal in the Hebrew. Yaal means mental weakness. Sauls armor made David weak. He threw it off.
The Believers, sons of God weapons are not carnal, sketchy, unsure, nor weak. No, we can do all things through Christ Jesus that strengthens us.
Like David, we are not using untested armor, we don`t fight like the world and are not conformed to it. For us, it`s not by power, not by might, but by The Spirit thus sayeth The Lord!
Folks we must put on the whole armor of God in a hostile world and remember that The Lord our God, Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit has proven Himself in our lives as The Lord of Host over and over.
