We must watch our words as we go about everyday life. The Word of God lets us know that The Angels of The Lord hearken unto the voice of His Word. This simply means that everything we put into the atmosphere is caught in the spirit world and put into action. Who is catching your words?
You ever heard the saying, think before you speak? We must think before we speak or tell the Lord to let our tongue cleave to the roof of our mouth if we have nothing good to say.
Scripture tells us that we are held accountable for every idle word that we speak. Matthew 12:36-37 So what are idle words? Everything we speak that is not of faith are idle words.
The Word of God also tells us in Proverbs 18:21 that death and life are in the power of the tongue. Therefore, we must ask ourselves, do we want the enemy to accuse us of what we say and live in a defeated position, or do we speak life and allow the angels of the Lord to do His Will in our lives?
