| Proverbs 19:21 (Did The Devil Make You Do It?) |
Why did you do it? Did the devil make you do it?
Proverbs 19:21 says,
There are many devices in a man/`/s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.
I believe the enemy had some influence in making you or me carry out that unrighteous device in our heart. Why?
First, if we never renew our minds by reading, pondering, and confessing The Word of God, we will never know or recognize how to walk in righteousness.
I call walking in righteousness The Kingdom Customs.
Second, the enemy is always throwing fiery darts at our minds. The soul realm of a person. These fiery darts give us suggestions on how to carry out unrighteous devices or seeds sown in our hearts because of the fall of man, cultural upbringing, what we see and what we hear.
Therefor, if not in tune with The Word of God, we will carry out what, not only is modeled in the world, but also the temptations that are presented by the kingdom of darkness.
But God!
This is why we all need The Savior, Jesus Christ. We must renew our minds in The Word of God!« BACK TO ALL SCRIPTURES OF THE WEEK |
